The BlackVue DR970X-2CH is a two-channel dash cam that records 4K UHD at the front and Full HD at the rear. It suits drivers who want the highest level of detail for number plates and incidents, with an 8-megapixel front sensor behind an ultra-wide 155° lens. Intelligent Parking Mode switches on when the ignition is off, with the option of real-time alerts through BlackVue Cloud.

Frequently asked questions
Does the DR970X record while parked?
Yes. Intelligent Parking Mode starts automatically when the ignition is switched off. With the hardwiring power cable the ACC+ line triggers parking mode; it records motion and impact events with buffering of the seconds before each event.
Is the rear camera included?
Yes. The 2CH package includes the 4K front camera and the Full HD Sony STARVIS rear camera.
Does the DR970X-2CH need a SIM card?
Not for normal recording. LTE is external on this model, so for always-on Cloud alerts you add the optional CM100LTE module with a data SIM.
Fitting and installation
Fitting is not included. Installation prices vary, please enquire for more information if you require installation. 12K Retrofits can supply and fit this dash cam, with the wiring hidden and the camera hardwired for parking mode where supported.
