This bundle includes the iRoad X30 2K QHD front dash cam and an iRoad internal infrared camera that records the inside of the vehicle. It suits taxi, private hire and chauffeur drivers who need footage of passengers as well as the road ahead. No rear camera is included; a third channel can be added later.

Is this bundle suitable for a taxi?

Yes. The internal infrared camera records the cabin day and night, which is why this pairing is popular with cab and private hire drivers.

Does the iRoad X30 record while parked?

Yes. Parking mode records on impact plus motion detection or time-lapse at 1fps, with low battery protection to look after the vehicle battery. It needs to be hardwired for this.

Can I add a rear camera as well?

Yes. The X30 supports up to three channels, so a rear or X30-EXC external camera can be added to this front and internal setup.

Fitting and installation

Fitting is not included. Installation prices vary, please enquire for more information if you require installation. 12K Retrofits can supply and fit this dash cam, with the wiring hidden and the camera hardwired for parking mode where supported.
