Porsche Apple CarPlay Retrofit and PCM Coding
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for Porsche, through the screen and controls the car already has. We cover the 911, 718, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera and Macan. The route your car takes depends on its PCM generation: older systems take a retrofit, while PCM 4.0 cars already carry the hardware and only need coding.

Model years overlap at every changeover, so the quickest check is your registration or a photograph of the screen. Enter the registration on our contact page and we will look the car up.
PCM 3.0 and PCM 3.1: the retrofit
A vehicle-specific loom plugs into the factory connectors behind the PCM unit. No wiring is cut or spliced. CarPlay and Android Auto appear on the Porsche screen and are worked with the original rotary controller, buttons and steering-wheel controls. The factory functions stay as they were. Unplug the loom and the car is exactly as it left Zuffenhausen.
PCM 4.0: coding
On PCM 4.0 cars the CarPlay function is already built in, switched off if it was not ordered from new. We switch it on by coding. No parts are fitted and nothing in the car is changed physically. Send us the registration or VIN and we will confirm the car is eligible before we come out.
Where no kit exists, we build one
If your Porsche has a system that is not listed here, ask. Where no kit exists we engineer one ourselves: we map the car's own CAN signals and write the controller firmware so the factory buttons drive CarPlay as though it came from the factory. It is the same work we have done on a Ferrari LaFerrari and a McLaren Senna.
Fitting, warranty and price
We come to the car at your home, your office or wherever it is stored, anywhere in the UK. Travel is 60p per mile on the round trip from Leicester. Everything we supply carries an 18-month hardware warranty. Prices depend on the PCM generation, so we give you a fixed figure once we know the car.
