Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.
Mobile fitting is available nationwide, and globally on request.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the Ferrari Portofino, through the factory screen and the controls you already use. The car keeps its own head unit; this retrofit adds CarPlay to what it can show.
Behind the head unit, a loom built for this car connects to the existing factory connectors. The Ferrari wiring is left exactly as it was, so the installation can be undone completely should you ever want the car back to original specification.
What changes, and what does not
Navigation, music, calls and messages come from your phone, wirelessly, and are shown on the Ferrari's display. The original audio sources, the parking sensors and the steering-wheel controls carry on as before.
Kit only or supply and fit
The kit on its own is £999, for fitting yourself or through your own installer. It comes with a fitting guide and remote support, posted from Leicester to the UK or overseas; outside the UK, duty and taxes are charged on arrival. Reaching the head unit means taking a fair amount of the interior apart, and the electrical side needs someone who knows the car. Unless you have done this sort of work before, our advice is to have it fitted.
Supply and fit is £1,399, fitted wherever the car lives in the UK, with travel at 60p per mile on the round trip from Leicester. International visits are quoted in advance.
Warranty and fitting
Everything supplied is covered by an 18-month hardware warranty, honoured on self-installs and third-party fits as well as our own, provided we receive the fitting form and photographs of the connections and mounting location at installation. Prices are inclusive of UK VAT.
