Frequently asked questions

Can the iRoad X30 run three cameras?

Yes. This bundle uses all three channels: front, external rear and internal infrared.

Does the iRoad X30 record while parked?

Yes. Parking mode records on impact plus motion detection or time-lapse at 1fps, with low battery protection to look after the vehicle battery. It needs to be hardwired for this.

Why an external rear camera rather than a standard one?

A standard rear camera mounts on the rear windscreen. The external camera is for vans, trucks and other vehicles with no rear glass, so it mounts outside the body.
