Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.
Mobile fitting is available nationwide, and globally on request.
The 570GT is the touring car of the Sports Series: softer springs, a quieter cabin and the glazed side-opening luggage bay above the engine. Of the Sports Series it is the one most likely to be covering long miles and it has the same 7-inch portrait IRIS 2 screen as its siblings, with no factory CarPlay. Our McLaren 570GT Apple CarPlay retrofit adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to that screen.
The kit is a vehicle-specific loom that connects to the factory connectors behind the head unit. The factory wiring is left whole and the car can go back to standard at any point leaving no trace.
What changes and what stays
Live traffic, current maps and hands-free messaging come from your phone rather than the factory navigation. The interior looks the same as it did. Factory audio, the reversing camera and the steering-wheel controls carry on as before.
Kit only or supply and fit
Kit only is £799.99, sent from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support for your own installer and supply and fit is £1,049.99. Reaching the head unit means taking the console apart, so unless the installer knows the Sports Series we would suggest leaving it to us.
Warranty and fitting
Every kit carries an 18-month hardware warranty and a self-install or third-party fit is covered provided we receive the fitting form and photographs of the connections and mounting location at the time of fitting. We fit at your home, office or storage facility across the UK. Travel is charged at 60p per mile on the round trip from Leicester and if the car lives abroad we can arrange a visit and quote for it in advance.
