Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.

The Long Tail treatment took weight out of the 675LT almost everywhere: thinner glass, carbon shells, carpet left out in places. It did nothing for the infotainment. The car kept the same portrait IRIS 2 screen as the 650S and none had CarPlay, so a McLaren 675LT Apple CarPlay retrofit is the only way to have it.
Ours adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to that screen. The loom is made for this platform and plugs into the factory connectors behind the head unit, so the original wiring is never cut.
What changes and what stays
CarPlay appears on the existing screen, with your phone connected wirelessly. The factory audio sources, the reversing camera and the steering-wheel controls carry on working as before. There is no visible alteration inside the car and no trim is left marked.
Reversibility matters more here than on most McLarens. With 500 coupes and 500 Spiders built, a 675LT is a car whose history will be looked at closely. This retrofit comes out as cleanly as it went in and the car returns to standard specification.
Kit only or supply and fit
The kit is £799.99 and ships from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support, for your own installer. Supply and fit is £1,049.99 and on a 675LT it is what we would recommend. A good deal of the interior has to come apart to reach the head unit and we would rather it was our hands doing it.
Warranty and fitting
Everything we supply carries an 18-month hardware warranty. It applies to self-installs and third-party fits too, provided the fitting form and photographs of the connections and mounting location reach us at installation. We fit at your home, office or storage facility anywhere in the UK, with international visits arranged and quoted in advance.
