Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.
Mobile fitting is available nationwide, and globally on request.
The 600LT is the Sports Series car built to be driven hard: top-exit exhausts, less sound deadening, carbon shells in place of seats. Like every Sports Series McLaren it was never offered with CarPlay from the factory. Our McLaren 600LT Apple CarPlay retrofit puts wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the car's 7-inch portrait IRIS 2 screen.
A vehicle-specific plug-and-play loom connects to the factory connectors behind the head unit. Nothing is cut and because the factory wiring is untouched the kit comes out again without leaving a mark on the car.
What changes and what stays
Maps, music, messages and calls come from your phone on the centre screen. The factory audio sources, the reversing camera and the steering-wheel controls are unaffected and the interior goes back together exactly as it came apart.
Kit only or supply and fit
The principle of the installation is the same as on a 570S, but a 600LT takes longer because of how much of the interior is carbon fibre. That is time rather than difficulty and it is why we would recommend we fit this one ourselves. Fitted by us the price is £1,049.99.
The kit alone is £799.99 with a fitting guide and remote support and it is there if you have an installer you trust with the car. Tell us the specification when you enquire so the visit is booked with enough time.
Warranty and fitting
18-month hardware warranty on everything supplied, whoever fits it. Self-installs are covered when the fitting form and photographs of the connections and mounting location are sent to us at installation. Fitting is at your home, office or storage facility anywhere in the UK, with travel at 60p per mile on the round trip from Leicester. Most of our work is between Leicester and London; international visits are quoted and agreed beforehand.
