McLaren 600LT Apple CarPlay

The 600LT is the Sports Series car built to be driven hard — top-exit exhausts, less sound deadening, carbon shells instead of seats. It is also, like every Sports Series McLaren, a car that never had the option of factory Apple CarPlay.

This retrofit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to the existing portrait screen through a vehicle-specific plug-in loom. Nothing is cut, nothing is spliced, and it removes without trace.

Why a 600LT takes longer

The principle of the installation is the same as on any other McLaren, but a 600LT usually takes more work than a 570S because of how extensively carbon fibre is used through the interior. It is not a difficulty, it is time — and it is worth telling us your car's specification when you enquire so the fitting slot is booked realistically.

The factory audio sources, reversing camera and steering wheel controls are unaffected and keep working as they always did.

Kit only or supply and fit

Take the kit for your own installer, or we will travel to the car. On a 600LT in particular we would recommend we fit it.
