McLaren 650S Apple CarPlay

The 650S took the 12C's architecture and fixed most of its complaints, but factory Apple CarPlay was never one of the things McLaren addressed. No 650S left Woking with it — the only route has always been a retrofit.

This one runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto through the car's existing portrait screen. A vehicle-specific plug-and-play loom sits behind the head unit, so there is no cutting, no splicing, and the whole thing lifts back out if you sell the car and want it standard.

Coupe and Spider

Both body styles are covered, and the Spider's roof mechanism and controls are untouched by the work. Your factory audio sources, reversing camera and steering wheel controls carry on as normal.

An OEM reverse camera can be added at the same time if the car does not already have one — mention it when you enquire.

Kit only or supply and fit

Buy the kit alone and fit it yourself, or have us travel to the car. Installation needs the centre console apart and a working knowledge of the loom, so we would recommend letting us do it.
