Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.

With the 720S, McLaren moved to an 8-inch portrait centre screen and added the folding driver display and every car built from 2017 to 2022 still left the factory without CarPlay. We fit a McLaren 720S Apple CarPlay retrofit to Coupe and Spider alike.
The retrofit runs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through that centre screen. The loom is specific to the 720S and connects to the factory plugs behind the unit. Nothing in the original wiring is cut or spliced and the whole installation can be removed later without trace.
What changes and what does not
The extra screen area is the point. CarPlay has more room on the 8-inch panel than on a Sports Series car and maps in particular are easier to read at a glance. The folding instrument display, the Active Dynamics controls either side of the screen and the reversing camera are not touched. Factory audio sources and the steering-wheel controls work as they did.
Kit only or supply and fit
Kit only is £899.99. It ships from Leicester with a fitting guide and we are available remotely while your installer works. Supply and fit is £1,049.99. The centre stack has to come out to reach the head unit, so unless your installer knows the 720S well we would suggest you let us come to the car.
Warranty and fitting
The 18-month hardware warranty covers the kit however it is fitted, as long as the fitting form and photographs of the connections and mounting location are sent to us at installation. We fit wherever in the UK the car is kept, whether that is a home, an office or a storage facility; a visit abroad is quoted and agreed first.
