Ships worldwide, including the USA. Every kit is dispatched from Leicester with a fitting guide and remote support. Outside the UK, import duty and local taxes are payable on arrival and are not included in the price or shipping charge; this includes the USA, where the $800 duty-free allowance no longer applies.
Mobile fitting is available nationwide, and globally on request.
The Senna was built to one brief and infotainment was not part of it. Five hundred were made, with a cabin reduced to carbon and glass and a portrait centre screen McLaren was never going to give CarPlay. A McLaren Senna Apple CarPlay retrofit is possible all the same, through the screen the car already has.
The kit brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to that screen from a plug-and-play loom made for the platform. It meets the factory connectors behind the head unit and the original wiring is left untouched.
What changes and what is left alone
There is no visible change to an interior where every panel is exposed carbon and when the kit is taken out again nothing remains to show it was ever there. The factory audio, the reversing camera and the steering-wheel controls are left working as they were.
Supply and fit, by preference
The kit is listed at £799.99 and supply and fit at £1,049.99. On an Ultimate Series car we would ask you to have us fit it and to speak to us before ordering either, so that we can agree exactly what you want from it and how the car will be handled before anyone touches the interior.
Warranty and fitting
The 18-month hardware warranty applies to everything we supply. Fitting takes place at the car, at its home, office or storage address in the UK; for a car kept abroad we arrange the visit in advance and quote it first. Enquire with the car's details and you will hear back from us personally, usually the same day.
